Working within our Business Support division puts you at the heart of our business. Your work will help the Group find Scientists and Technical Consultants to work with our growing client base, and in turn help to protect and maintain the world around us.
We offer a role that will give you full responsibility for a division of the Group. Working closely with HRBPs and Directors you will developing working relationships to ensure that talent acquisition is proactive and constantly adapting to meet business need. APEM have doubled in size in less than two years and have plans to double again in the next two years, this can only be achieved by recruiting the right people. You will support this growth by providing exceptional Talent Acquisition support and ensuring that HR operational and legislative requirements are met.
About the role
The key focus of the role is to provide a proactive Talent Acquisition service to the business, building talent pools of passive and active candidates to ensure that the best talent is attracted to the organisation. You will track market intelligence, from changes to salaries to news about competitors, and feed this to the business to ensure APEM’s talent offer is competitive and relevant. You will also support with social media activity to raise the profile of APEM as an employer of choice with the environmental/green job market.
About you
You will be an accomplished recruitment professional, ideally with experience within an internal recruitment function. We are open to external recruiters if you have a track record recruiting in a niche sector where candidate management and long-term relationships are valued above all else. You will be able to evidence where you have headhunted passive talent, and how you have approached building talent pipelines that took time to lead to placements.
You will need to have a customer first ethos – you will work exclusively with a small number of hiring managers and directors, often on hard to fill roles with long lead times. You will therefore need to be tenacious, resilient, and relentless in the search for talent
