The Opportunity

In this role you will see yourself responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance,and timeliness with corporate finance policies for all accounting deadlines and reporting.

This role will also assist CAO on annual audit and statutory process and assist in FP&A process including NZ Market and SG&A.

Your duties will include:

• Undertaking/completing assigned reconciliations, liaising across business to resolve items
• Reviewing monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet variances. Investigating and highlighting issues to management requiring immediate attention. Prepare reports and presentations for financial and operational management reviews
• Assisting in Month end process include but not limited to preparing EOM analysis, check intercompany balance, etc.
• Assisting in statutory accounts preparation and audit
• Assisting in FPA budget/forecast process, prepare analysis, identify risks and opportunities
• Assisting in System upgrade project, include user testing, data migration, reconciliations, etc.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Degree Qualified in Accounting and have also completed your CPA/CA
• Demonstrated financial and or management accounting experience.
• Experience with MS Office suite of programs with particular focus on Excel and Access.
• Experience within Financial Services industry would be highly regarded
• Knowledge and experience Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Controls and accounting procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines
• Strong commitment to team and teamwork skills
