The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity become available for a ANZ Finance Controller – Logistics to join our Finance team located in St Marys, NSW.

In this role, you will see yourself responsible for inventory controlling across both transport logistics and wholegoods.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the local Transport Logistics team and the APAC Logistic Controller as well as the local Wholegoods AG and Wholegoods CE Commercial Control team with inventory management.
• Leading the forecasting and budgeting activities for Transport Logistics
• Coordinating the standard freight costs definition in agreement with Transport Logistics, Manufacturing and Finance.
• Maintaining inventory data flow and integrity between the Commercial System and Financial System.
• Maintaining and improving reporting process and tools.
• Controlling the SG&A costs and CAPEX investments for the Transport Logistics function, setting Budget & Forecast and analyzing variances.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• Demonstrated experience in a finance function preferably in an industrial environment.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organised.
• To be articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to think creatively, be highly driven and self-motivated.
• Strong commitment to achieving tight deadlines, under certain level of stress with the flexibility to work afterhours where necessary.
• Excellent Excel financial modelling; forecasting and budgeting skills.
