About the Role
Global Benefits is a global business line for Aon with over 250 employees and the UK team consists of approximately 45 consultants and support stuff with various backgrounds and experiences to best serve our clients. As a M&A consultant within the Global Benefits team your primary role will be to support delivering and selling a variety of benefits-related M&A projects across Aon. You will work with colleagues of other business lines around the world:
Lead M&A consulting projects, and support our clients throughout their deal journey – Due Diligence, Planning, and Implementation
Provide high-quality input to complex client projects with a focus on M&A engagements to support the business plan for M&A revenue growth
Help managing project budgets involving consultant teams internationally
Provide guidance to junior team members supporting projects to achieve project objectives
Help to develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships
Contribute to developing new Innovative M&A solutions and related tools
Build key relationships within the Aon network to support delivery of global services to our clients
Support our Aon United philosophy through continuous learning and collaboration within Aon, leveraging client and industry knowledge to bring all of Aon to clients

About you
As a M&A Global Benefits Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
3-5 years of experience working on complex multi-country benefits-related M&A projects
Exposure within an actuarial background is preferred (full actuarial qualification not required)
Good technical understanding of core international benefit programs (Retirement, Risk, Medical)
Working knowledge of payroll, HR, finance, pensions and flex & risk systems/processes
Proven ability to resolve issues using strong analytical skills
Results-orientated, accustomed at setting high standards and working in a demanding environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate project teams and key resources to meet tight deadlines
Experience in managing stakeholders including clients, colleagues, and senior leadership
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
International mindset and open to occasional international travel
