Finance Assistant
Finance Controlling is responsible for ensuring Aon’s key financial obligations are met in accordance with local, internal, and external company standards & policies. Controlling provides services to all segments of Aon operations within the Pacific, with key aspects including Treasury, Tax Regulatory Reporting & Audit.

What the day will look like
You will be responsible for:
  • Collating and lodging Premium related taxes, levies, and duties
  • Fiduciary compliance and ASIC Reporting
  • Treasury support
  • General Ledger Reconciliations
  • General Ledger Journal entries
  • Work closely with Payment Operations
  • Work closely and support Aon’s joint venture and Managing General Agency Finance team
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to assist in the development of process improvement

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • 1-2 years accounting experience (insurance experience not essential, but advantageous)
  • Studying or completed a tertiary qualification in accounting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to organise, prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
