Principal Consultant – Strategy & Human-Centred Design

Role Overview:

As a Principal Consultant at Anthosa Consulting, you will play a leadership role in managing and executing projects that integrate strategy, human-centred design, and agile methodologies. Leveraging your deep industry experience, you will lead project teams, manage client engagements, and be accountable for delivering exceptional outcomes. In addition to the responsibilities of a Senior Consultant, you will take on a higher level of accountability, overseeing multiple engagements and contributing to the strategic direction of our firm.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, conduct in-depth analyses, and develop data-driven strategic recommendations. Translate complex challenges into actionable plans that align with clients’ long-term goals.
• Human-Centred Design: Apply human-centred design principles to craft solutions that prioritize user experience, empathy, and usability. Lead user research efforts, create user personas, and guide the development of prototypes to validate and iterate on proposed concepts.
• Agile Methodologies: Champion agile methodologies to foster flexibility, efficiency, and collaboration within client organizations. Lead agile workshops, scrum meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery.
• Project Leadership: Assume ownership of multiple project deliveries, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively. Keep clients informed about project progress, address potential roadblocks, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and identifying opportunities for further collaboration and business expansion.
• Thought Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content and represent the firm at conferences or events.
• Mentorship: Act as a mentor to junior consultants, guiding their professional growth and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting or relevant industry experience, focusing on strategy development, human-centred design, and agile methodologies.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and driving tangible results for clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management, ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery.
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset, able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced consulting environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of industry advancements.
• Certification in relevant areas such as Agile, Design Thinking, or relevant industry standards is a plus.
