Medication Technician Job Summary:
- Administer and document regularly prescribed medications to residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan
- Order medication from the pharmacy when necessary and/or by the request of the Director of Health and Wellness
- Monitor orders to ensure on time delivery keeping Director of Health and Wellness updated within 12 hours of delivery
Medication Technician Qualifications:
- Medication Technician experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one-year prior experience
- Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
- CPR certification a plus
