Anthem Tax Services Hiring for Collections Specialist Job at Woodland Hills, CA Full Time

The Collection Specialist is responsible for monitoring, contacting, and collecting on all accounts that are excessively past due on their contracted payments. Additionally, the Collections Specialist will be responsible for executing all hold, suspension, and service revocation protocols that are associated with those who fail to pay within such required periods of time. Given the nature of collection activity, this role will require thorough knowledge of internal operations, to provide past due clients with valuable information and service as well.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Negotiate immediate commitment to payment with past due clients

· Provide clients with case updates if necessary

· Collect & run updated payments

· Follow-up with those who do not answer nor reply (via phone call, text, email, and physical mail)

· Collaborate with Sales Department on arrangements & documentation

· Send warning letters via postal mail and email

· Facilitate account holds & suspensions for delinquent accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Advanced Data Entry & Numerical Precision

· Exceptional Organizational Skills

· Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Associate degree (Minimum) in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance

· 5+ years’ experience in administration, accounting, or collections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
