Summary

We are looking to add a Business Analyst into our team with a primary focus on business development. With your background in business analysis, you will consult with leads and new customers to elicit and diagnose business problems. Meanwhile, you will work closely with Business Analysts and Software Engineers to design fit-for-purpose mobile and web app solutions throughout the presales cycle.

You have demonstrated experience in

• Consulting and qualifying leads to identify which offer provides the best fit and greatest value proposition
• Eliciting and documenting customer requirements (people, process, technology) and creating high level solution design artefacts (diagrams, low fidelity designs, specifications, etc.) for proposals
• Working with other Business Analysts and Software Engineers to validate and prepare proposal inputs (effort estimation, handover, etc.)
• Preparing and delivering proposals to qualified leads and handling the negotiation and closing process

The ideal candidate also has some experience in

• Planning and managing software development work across design, development and deployment (including documenting acceptance criteria)
• Delivering at least 1 project with involvement across the end to end cycle (kickoff to cutover and transition into BAU)
• Gathering, validating and documenting requirements via workshops, consultations and other modes
• Identifying and presenting risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and business benefits of proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
• Developing new offers based on customer analysis, competitor research and detailing buyer personas
• Developing and / or managing digital sales funnels
• Familiarity with or experience delivering projects using behaviour driven development practices; tools such as Jira, Slack, Google Workspace; technologies such as WordPress, SharePoint, iOS, Android, Firebase, GCP

Your availability

• At least 10 hrs each week in total for capability alignment and delivery
• At least 3 hrs after 5pm on weekdays each week (for alignment purposes)
