We seek to answer 80% of calls within 20 seconds or less.

As a part time Customer Service Receptionist (CSR), you have the privilege and opportunity to provide comfort and help in times of need. CSR’s answer inbound calls and act as the first point of contact for a wide range of situations. It could be processing a donation, providing relief to someone experiencing pain, or aiding people in emergencies such as fires, floods, or power loss. To us, our clients, and our customers, a CSR is an “invisible hero!”

As a weekend CSR, we require open availability to be scheduled flexible shifts for at least 3 weekends a month between 6 am and 12 am on Saturday and Sunday. For a total of 16-20 hours per weekend plus any availability to work shifts Monday to Friday pending your available start time up to midnight for extra hours up to 28 hours per week in total.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide thoughtful and professional customer support
• Accurately collect details in an organized and timely manner
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions via phone, email, and live chat
• Take messages, enter orders, process and dispatch service calls
• Maintain a commitment to continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of service

Qualifications and Skills:
This position is a remote opportunity to start. A hybrid model in the future when restrictions are lifted will be considered. Candidates should be prepared to work onsite in the future, or at least attend the office for training and coaching when required.

• Technically savvy and proficient keyboard skills (ie: 50+ WPM)
• Capable of utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Go To Meeting
• Strong communication skills – interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written
• Ability to smile through the phone and connect with callers positively
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

Work from Home Requirements:

• Quiet, dedicated room free of background noise
• Ability to connect the computer from a router – not wireless
• Windows PC – No Apple or Chrome Books
• Operating System: Windows 10
• Full, standard-sized keyboard with Function Keys (F1-F12) and a number pad
• Two monitors
• Webcam – for training and coaching purposes
• Wired head set with microphone that connects to your cell phone or landline
• Unlimited high-speed internet
• Unlimited Canada wide long-distance calling/cellphone calling plan
• Ability to provide your own ethernet cable
• Start date is: Tuesday, August 16 or Tuesday, August 23
• Training is 2 weeks and will be completed via Zoom/Go-to-Meetings/Microsoft Teams. Day 1 (Tuesday) is 10am-4pm, the rest of training is 8am-1pm Monday to Friday.
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour.
