Have a strong ability to perform data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies and proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation.

You’re seeking growth and maximising your professional exposure in a finance team that works across all areas of finance from process improvement to tax, banking, and revenue. Then this role is for you.

What’s the Financial Accountant role about?

As a* Financial Accountant*, you will be responsible for completing the month-end financial processes of some of our global entities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a passionate team and a great culture. Some of the key activities for this role are:

• prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including inter-company reconciliations ensuring that all reconciling items are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• lead system implementations and processes improvements. Bring your ideas on how to make the function better.
• project lead implementation, coordination with 3rd party specialists ensuring that systems are fit for purpose and working
• prepare and post accounting journal entries
• assist with the preparation of audit files and assistance during the half-year and year-end audits.
• assist in completing month-end processing, budgeting and forecasting.
• assist with system improvements and participate in team projects

We would love to hear from you if you:

• are degree-qualified and hold CPA, CA or ACCA Accreditation
• have experience in similar roles with exposure to systems implementation
• have the ability to meet deadlines, with strong organisational and time management skills
• are a data-driven professional who likes to work with data and statistical analysis to spot trends and anomalies
• are obsessed with details, like to work methodically and can manage competing priorities
• are curious, ask questions, listen and love to connect with people and work as part of a team
• like to solve problems and look at challenges as opportunities to make things better, faster and simpler.
• are comfortable using MS tools (including Confluence and Slack) and a Mac/Apple environment
