The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with operations leadership to support and enforce company policy, ensure a culture where communication is strong and where employees are confident and thrive in a culture where they feel belonging. The HRBP will address people concerns swiftly, creating a space where employees are happy and want to work. This role will partner with others to hire and retain the right talent, The HRBP will successfully partner and advise facility leadership on people and business issues, administer pay and benefit programs, and administer best HR practices to maximize employee happiness, business performance and customer satisfaction in a diverse workforce.
Essential Functions –
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current talent retention, recruitment, and succession.
- Will lead, mentor, and coach a diverse employee population in a matrixed environment.
- Executes performance management programs including annual performance reviews, progressive coaching, and employee succession
- Analyzes trends in turnover and other HR key data and recommends strategies to improve.
- Responsible for communication and rollout of new company policies and procedures and enforces same policies and practices.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff and employees as needed.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Mentors managers on employee development best practices and provides guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution.
- Works with HR leadership when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
- Partners with the Talent Acquisition group, executes local interviewing, and hiring of applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develops, facilitates, and instructs employee learning and development programs and initiatives that drive employee growth, internal development, and employee succession.
- Conducts investigations and oversees employee disciplinary meetings and terminations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or other business or related degree.
- 5 years of general HR experience; manufacturing or operational organization is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Salary: $65,000 – $85,100
