Role Overview

The Faceplates Assembler role is a general production position with lots of opportunity for career growth. This role is an integral part of AEM’s ability to manufacture exceptional avionics products for our clients. The Faceplates Assembler position is responsible for the assembly and production of AEM faceplates.

Key Responsibilities

Assembles AEM products from written procedures.

Operates tools such as sandblaster, belt sander, drill press.

Performs maintenance on tools and equipment as required.

Operates laser for engraving panels and fabparts, including general maintenance on equipment, occasionally.

Performs all duties per applicable quality program procedures.

Completes all other duties as assigned, including supporting other Production departments via transfer when required.

Success Factors

No education or experience required; training is provided in-house.

General experience with computers is required.

Experience working with repetitious assembly of small electronic or other products is an asset.

Excellent hand-eye coordination is required.

Demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills.

Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time.

A strong work ethic with a positive approach to working with others.
