About this position
We are seeking a passionate Customer Service Engineer with knowledge about solar/PV-related environments, a talented agent capable of providing top support for our North American clients. This position includes answering our customers’ product inquires and provide the needed information for troubleshooting, installation and constantly maintaining customer satisfaction for our products and service. You will be working with a truly global team of exceptional quick learners in which everyone can make a difference in the rapid growth of the company.

Responsibilities:
1. Candidate will be required to answer inbound Emails / Chats / Phone calls from Anker customers during assigned hours.
2. Candidate must be open to work on weekends and night shifts.
3. Conducting remote troubleshooting of Anker products.
4. Troubleshooting, approving, and executing warranty claims.
5. Providing pre-sales information about Anker products.
6. Assisting with the activation of new Anker sites as needed.
7. Documenting all activity in a central CRM/Help Desk software platform.
8. Coordinating with Anker Engineering with tracking of field-issues, and subsequent product-modifications, logging product bugs in a central database.
9. Assisting other team-members with troubleshooting and/or administrative tasks as needed.
10. Following departmental conventions and procedures.
11. Participating in ongoing training/education of industry standards and Anker product-specific information.
12. Professionally represent Anker via all communications mediums.
13. Abiding by all company policies and standards of conduct contained in the Anker employee-manual.
14. Performing other duties as assigned.
Preferred skills
1. Should be a Graduate – B.E/B.Tech
2. Should have scored 60% and above in 10th, 12th, and Graduation. Applicant with lower than 60% scores in 10th, 12th or Graduation will not be considered for the role. Scores are mandatory to be shared along with the resume. Incomplete resumes will not be considered for the position.
3. Should have a minimum of 1 year experience supporting customer in Tech Support or Customer Support role. Freshers will not be considered for the role.
4. Good Interpersonal skills and proven ability to build rapport and establish/keep working relationships with customers, peers, and managers.
5. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
6. Computer literate (PC skills essential, Mac OS desirable)
7. General understanding electrical concepts, AC & DC circuits, electrical or electronics background would be highly desirable.
