We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative to join our team!

The Customer Support Representative … is held to the highest level of customer support accountability and integrity as you manage ASC’s customer accounts support needs.

In this exciting role, you will:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Manage and monitor your account transactions for accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to quickly assess information and disseminate information and requests to the appropriate Inside Sales Representative or ASC teammate and follow up to confirm the request was handled and closed
• Complete daily route review to ensure there are no missed, due or past due orders
• Act on all over-dues and backorders daily to avoid un-invoiced orders
• Review all EDI/HH/Web orders — Act on all item exception s
• Validate all orders to ensure accuracy, customer specific requirements
• Accurately release orders for shipping
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries
• Full product knowledge to accurately answer questions
• Ability to effectively multi-task and quickly navigate multiple systems
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
• Communicating with customers through various channels
• Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints
• Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
• Communicate and coordinate with cross departmental teammates as necessary
• Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

Do you have the following qualifications?

• Utilize ASC’s internal and most likely multiple ERP systems, Oro and Oro Admin and any CRM database
• Participate in learning sessions to foster professional growth, product knowledge and company strategies
• Team approach to maintain customer or delivery updated information
• Develop strong working relationships with internal departments
• Support the work efforts of other related company departments, by participating on cross-functional teams
• Professional, inquisitive and a high energy individual with a team player mentality
• Able to flourish and eager to grow in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and aptitude to use computers and related technology skillfully required
• Excellent verbal, written and keyboarding skills
• Proven ability to continually learn and understand changing job-related policies and procedures, company products, services and promotions in an efficient manner required
• Able to see tasks through to completion and effectively communicate results
• Adept at multi-tasking in a high transaction environment
• Adaptable to performing work according to set procedures required
• Excellent attendance and reliability required

Your education & experience should be similar to:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word)
• Two-year degree or equivalent in related field preferred
• ASC’s internal ERP systems, phone, online and mobile ordering platforms and CRM database required
• 2+ years of previous order management/expediter experience
• 2+ years over-the-phone selling
• Pet industry experience a plus

Working conditions:

• Remote work in a professional home office environment or at one our Distribution Centers
• Be available via computer, video conferencing, and phone during business hours
• Be able to work past end of shift/core schedule if business requires
• Must have fast and reliable internet

The estimated annualized base salary range for the Customer Experience Representative is $18.00 – $22.00 an hour. Animal Supply Company (ASC) compensation is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to role, level, and location. In addition, ASC’s pay can vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience for each candidate for the posted position. Included in ASC’s total compensation are benefits such as medical, dental, and retirement.
