Job Description
PURPOSE
Partner the Marketing Business to ensure a talented, diverse, capable and highly engaged collaborative Business Unit focused on achieving the evolving Business Objectives and driving an agile, innovative and high performing culture
KEY TASKS
Business Partnering
Supports client group managers under direction of HR Manager on plans to drive team performance, plans and initiatives to support local and business strategy
Supports the implementation of wider business initiatives within own client groups
Employee Relations
Provides independent, proactive and professional advisory service to managers on employee relations considerations such as disciplinary and performance issues across client group.
Rewards & Performance Management
Provides planning, coordination, support and input for annual and on-going performance management and reward processes in conjunction with Global Rewards
Talent
Contributes to the delivery of talent audits and discipline talent reviews under the HR Manager to create plans which address talent development requirements within client group.
Coordinates appropriate talent development initiatives and interventions.
Recruitment
Provides recruitment support service in conjunction with RPO team.
Policies & Processes
In conjunction with the HR Manager contributes to the development and implementation of relevant HR policies, processes and initiatives within Representative and Marketing offices
Training Delivery
Support the development and delivery of all HR related training to employees such as PC&IDP, People Development Ways, Employment Law, Recruitment & Interview Skills training for examples
Stakeholders
Coordinates internal stakeholder relationships
Ad hoc projects as required
Safety, Health & Environment

Every Marketing Employee will spend time each quarter working on activity which supports Physical Health and Safety.
Compliance
Adherence to all Anglo American Group and Marketing policies and procedures, as well as observing proper standards of conduct relating to the role.
Qualifications
Degree qualification in a relevant discipline is desirable (HR related preferred but not essential).
Experience working within a Human Resources role in a global multi-national organisation
Experience of delivering talent development / learning development projects
Solid understanding of change management and organisational development methodologies including employee engagement and team facilitation
Knowledge of employment practices and laws – UK, South Africa and LATAM
