Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS) is the principal provider of corporate services to the Anglican Diocese of Canberra & Goulburn, encompassing the Property Trust, Parishes, Anglican Investment Development Fund, Synergy Youth, Anglicare Campsites, Anglican Schools and Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT.

We aim to be honest and transparent in the way we treat others and actively promote a culture of trust and respect, and we now have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner and an HR Business Partner – Schools to join the Anglican Diocesan Services (ADS) in Canberra.

About the role:

Reporting to the ADS HR Team Leader, this role will work closely with managers and key stakeholders to ensure the human resource function operates smoothly. Collaborating with key stakeholders, this role will look after all recruitment needs including, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and selection. Partnering with management across the board will also be required for staffing matters, such as performance management and appraisals, staff conflict and grievance procedures. You’ll also be:

• Interpreting, applying and advising on industrial instruments and employment law
• Producing workforce planning reports
• Overseeing the onboarding and induction processes
• Supporting ADS and Anglicare policies and ethos

Who are you?

With a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and proven experience in a similar role, you are an HR expert who can provide advice across various levels of an organisation. You have established conflict management and resolution skills and are a genuine problem solver who can communicate across the board.

This is the perfect opportunity to take oversight of all Human Resources activity throughout the organisation. Although not critical for this position, relevant experience within the education sector would be advantageous.
