About you

Who: An experienced MSP IT professional. Experience working on Servers, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, firewalls and switching. You live for the thrill of solving the big problem and also enjoy training a teammate on items you are familiar with.

What: A least 3-4 years of experience in an MSP or corporate environment
Experience with Windows Server 2016 and later
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and MS Exchange
Strong understanding of Office 365 and migration from Exchange
Experience in routing and switching

When: Exact starting date is not known at this time. We are gathering candidates and watching forecasting to determine starting date.

Where: Must live in the Chicago land area and have a broadband/highspeed Internet connection.

How: Using your natural talents and years of experience you crush every project that comes across your desk.
With your great communication skills and personality to handle the occasional emergency issue with a frazzled client. Also, your communication helps a customer understand how your project is going to benefit his organization.

Your Team

You would be part of a 6 person IT Professional Services team that designs, installs, documents, and provides project support both remotely and onsite. The Professional Services group is a forward-looking proactive install group for small to midsize businesses. You report to Bill, the VP of IT & Professional Services, who is a partner of the company CEO.

How you will contribute

A day/week in the life looks like this:

Working scheduled remote tasks for project installations

If local – sometimes perform site visits for installation, follow up and troubleshooting.

The skills you will need:

• Advanced on Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2008-2019)
• Advanced on Active Directory, Group Policy
• Advanced with Microsoft Azure and Office 365
• The ability to talk with sales staff and customers to understand their needs and design technical solutions for them.

About Us:

Who: We are a 25-year old technology service company. The 3 original founders still work here day-to-day, in fact, you will work closely with one of them. But, we have grown to almost 50 passionate and dedicated team members.

What: We provide outsourced IT services, physical security (CCTV, Access Control, and Burglar), telephone systems, and website development. But, we really serve our clients (and each other) to provide peace of mind.

When: Q2 or Q3 of 2021 depending on forecasted workload.

Where: This job is available to work remotely a few days a week when possible. Field visits will be required. Our Headquarters is in Lockport, Illinois.
