Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Inspect and perform light mechanical rebuilds of roll shells; operate hydraulic press and bench grinder;

Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments;

Prepare various documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials;

Prepare shipments by assembling and arranging for the transportation of materials/equipment;

Receive shipments by unpacking, verifying against manifests, and recording incoming materials/equipment;

Communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance;

Read work orders to determine work assignments or material/equipment requirements;

Move equipment and materials to and from different areas of the site (production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles etc.) by hand/trolley or forklift;

Other warehouse general labour as required.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED;

Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in an industrial warehouse;

Physically able to perform assigned duties and lift up to 50 pounds independently;

Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to inspect and perform light mechanical repairs and improvements;

Self-motivated and ability to prioritize workload;

Strong work ethic and teamwork skills;

Forklift certificate an asset;

Legally entitled to work in Canada.
