We are seeking extraordinary, enthusiastic Wine Country Concierges – Okanagan Valley, BC to join our National Wine Country Team. The Okanagan Valley is a top British Columbia wine region producing award-winning vintages. We have five (5) wineries located in South and North Okanagan. Three (3) are in South Okanagan BC: Red Rooster, Tinhorn Creek Winery and Black Hills Estate Winery, and two (2) in the North Okanagan: Sandhill & Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery and Gray Monk Estate Winery, including The Lookout Restaurant at Gray Monk. We are fortunate to have a a diverse range of fruit-friendly terroirs and an ever-growing pool of passionate vintners. Sunny and hot with fragrant sage, lavender fields, and vineyards spanning the hillsides, the long valley is filled with an expansive lake.
Reporting to the Wine Country Concierge Manager, the Wine Country Concierge(s) will act as the ambassadors responsible for understanding all experiences, including dining, events, at our five (5) wineries, ensuring cross-property experiences and bookings are a part of each guest experience, with a significant focus on creating an inviting and memorable impression of all Estate Wine Group properties.

We are looking for a teammate with:
Post-secondary education in Tourism, Hospitality or Business an asset, combined with knowledge and education in the wine/spirits
Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and an understanding of Guest/Customer service excellence
Enthusiastic and welcoming attitude with a professional presentation
Ability to pay attention to detail and ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs an asset with a focus on Word and Excel
Smart Serve Certification
This teammate will be accountable for:
Act as an ambassador, representing our five (5) wineries in the British Columbia: Black Hills Estate Winery, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Red Rooster, Sandhill & Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery, Gray Monk Estate Winery, and The Lookout Restaurant at Gray Monk Estate Winery
Answering phone and email inquiries from guests, greeting them, and attending to their specific requirements in a friendly and helpful manner
Communicating details of tours, experiences, wine boutique and restaurant offerings
Building and upselling cross-property itineraries via inbound phone calls
Achieving and/or exceeding assigned daily sales targets, including Wine Club memberships
Answering Western Estate winery e-mail enquiries
Data entry for Wine Country ballots at Western Estate wineries
Facilitating weekly and yearly consumer surveys through database
Attending team and channel meetings as requested ensuring all relevant information is communicated
Follows safe work procedures/practices; reports any unsafe working conditions/hazards to assigned Manager on Duty.
Criminal Record Check as per the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) requirement 12.7
