PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:

The IT Help Desk is responsible for providing IT support to all employees, including Windows environment computers, servers, peripherals, network cabling and software installations. This role serves as a first point of contact for assistance to any IT related questions or support. Responsible for Imaging and configuration of all computer systems. The IT Help Desk also helps with the administration of Servers and Systems throughout the organization.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTAIBLITY:

• Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, software, and peripheral issues for both local and remote team members.
• Perform and oversee all PC Imaging, and software installations and upgrades.
• Assist in the support and maintenance of user account information including user set up for new hires, permissions, and group assignments.
• Maintain accurate PC hardware and software inventory.
• Document software and hardware processes and routines.
• Troubleshoot and support printers and copiers as needed and work with copier vendor.
• Administer Active Directory, Azure, and Office 365.
• Resolve inquiries by researching documentation, providing answers, referring to appropriate resources and training end-users.
• Provide support to Servers and Network as needed.
• Collaborate with IT Manager on projects and goals that align with company and department goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

QUALITIFCATIONS FOR ENTRY:

• 2-year technical IT degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Must have excellent hardware and software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• 3+ years of experience or equivalent with IT Help Desk support. (required)
• Excellent understanding and experience with Windows 10 configuration and troubleshooting. (required)
• 2+ years with Active Directory, Group Policy and ExchangeOffice 365 experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PC Setup, configuration and imaging – preferably MDTWDS, SCCM or Intune.
• Experience and understanding of Software Distribution.
• Experience and understanding of Network topologies; TCP-IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Willingness and ability to learn additional infrastructure skills to support servers and network.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and deadlines.

Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. Moderately heavy work requiring the occasional lifting of objects weighing 50 pounds or less. In the performance of essential duties, the incumbent may be required to operate a variety of industrial machining tools.
