Vacancy – Senior Highway Engineer

Location(s) – Liverpool

Anderselite are working with an award-winning consultancy that are looking to take on a Senior Highway Engineer in their Liverpool office to support numerous framework contracts and a diverse range of exciting portfolio of clients and projects in the North west.

Our client has recently opened a new office and have secured a range of challenging projects in Liverpool including work for Local Councils and Highway Authorities, Contractors, and private organisations.

Responsibilities

– You will provide a consistent high level technical design service.
– You will support, training and guidance to other staff.
– You will work with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
– You will report to the Highway Director.
– You will work with other discipline team leaders to ensure technical integration.

Experience & Qualifications

– Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.
– Experience of working in a highway design office with at least 8 years of practical design experience.
– Have proven experience of working with local authorities.
– Working towards chartership status.
– Knowledge of DMRB, LTN1/20 and other design standards.
– Capable of carrying out tasks without minimal supervision and
– Seeking increasing level of responsibility.
