Anchor Bay Packaging Hiring for Machine Operator at New Baltimore, MI Full Time

Full Job Description

**This position will start through our Staffing Agency first until hours are met, temp to hire** Currently have 1 opening for 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm, $17.00/hr

It is preferred but not required that Machine Operators possess at least a minimal competency in the following areas:

  • Reading, writing and speaking the English Language.
  • Using a tape measure.
  • Use of computer.
  • Reading Specs and following job procedures.
  • Understanding Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Problem-solving.
  • Ability to read and follow design specifications, bill of materials, and work instructions.
  • Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects.
  • Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company.
  • Follow all company safety protocol.
  • Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
  • Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions
