Our firm is looking for enthusiastic Accounting and Admin Assistant who enjoys working as part of a team in a high transaction environment. They will be reporting directly to the Assistant Controller and will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the accounting department and general operations. The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working with a diverse group of individuals, have excellent writing and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience in Construction supply/ building industry preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience with excellent accounting and data entry skills
• Quickbooks knowledge
• Bilingual would be beneficial
• Detail-oriented and excellent at follow up
• Ability to prioritize daily duties
• Positive attitude
• And at times the ability to work thru challenging and extremely busy work flow

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Posting and applying customer payments to invoices
• Process and post requests for customer refunds
• Entering, updating and maintaining customer account information
• Maintain accounts receivable files and records
• Post material receiving documents
• Email customer copies of invoices and monthly statements
• Providing excellent customer service and support to our valued customers
• Helping customers with requests and taking credit card payments over the phone
• Working directly with the Sales Team as a supportive role with customer accounts
• Assist in Project / Task assignments to support Admin and Sales Team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
