Anansys Staffing LLC Hiring for Logistics Specialist at Any, USA Full Time

The Logistics Specialist will supportoperations procurement and customer service. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for the scheduling of shipping routesand delivery specifically with regard to customer satisfaction.

Everyone in the logistics department is responsible for respondingimmediately to questions and complaints and for notifying customerservice about any delays in the delivery schedule.

Staying on topof all accounts and coordinating with other departments isessential.

Essential Duties &Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickups and deliveries for both domestic &international shipments including prepping the necessarypaperwork.
• Accurately enter load informationinto our system.
• Complete daily logs andtrackers.
• Act as a liaison between customerservice and freight carriers.
• Determineappropriate shipment methods based on multiple factors.
• Controls costs by evaluating shipments consolidatingloads and selecting most costefficient method ofshipment.
• Review internal / customer issues inrelation to logistics and act to ensure they are resolvedappropriately.
• Investigate evaluate and settlefreight claims.
• Other duties as assigned bysupervisor.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent).Associates degree preferred or 2 years related experience and / ortraining or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
• Experience in logistics bookingand managing freight.
• Ability to work withcross functional teams.
• Knowledge of lawsregulations and ISO requirements.
• Ability towork with minimal supervision and track multipleprocesses.
• Working knowledge of logisticssoftware (ERP SAP) but not necessary.
• Outstanding organizational and coordinationabilities.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Extensive PC knowledgeincluding database spreadsheet and web skills.
• Detail oriented able to manage multiplepriorities.
• Ability to speak effectivelybefore groups of customers or employees of organization.
