Level of experience – At least 5 years of experience working in business analysis role in the data and analytics domain.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and help support our clients by conducting analysis to support delivery of data analytics consultancy and expertise. As a member of our consultancy team, you will work on client assignments, provide analysis across projects and service delivery, follow structured approach in analysis and produce relevant technical and process documentation. You will take part in daily stand ups, lead workshops and support the team throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will provide support across our consultancy business, champion best practice and communicate issues and risks as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applying business analysis skills to provide insight and aid decision making whilst ensuring effective use of available data, systems, and tools
• Pro-actively investigating business problems, identifying opportunities and options to improves analytical systems and business processes
• Challenging constructively to achieve best possible outcomes for our client and our business
• Utilising business analysis techniques in requirements engineering, agile business analysis, business architecture, team leadership and data analysis

• Formulating and execute testing scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the delivery lifecycle
• Facilitating user acceptance testing and support client business users to execute acceptance testing
• Creating and maintaining project and service delivery documentation to meet local and regulatory process controls including Service Overview, Standard Operating Procedure and Service Continuity Procedures
• Working under agile values and methodologies as well as traditional project delivery methodology
• Demonstrating collaborative behaviours, be innovative and able to manage changing priorities
• Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and senior levels
• Ability to pass security clearance if required and have right to work in the UK

Required Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience in working in business analyst role within enterprise or large business

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in use of SQL query tools to extract, query and analyse data
• 3+ years’ experience working with SAS software and programming language
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management framework
• Experience in working closely with clients remotely and on-site

Other requirements:

• Effective technical writing skills
• Proactive self-starter must be able to work unsupervised

Education Requirements:

• Degree level qualification
• A recognised professional accreditation/qualification in Business Analysis e.g. BCS/ISEB International Diploma in Business Analysis
