We are currently looking for an EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DESIGNER who is creative, curious, and eager to develop expertise in digital detectors and their medical applications who will evolve within a multidisciplinary development team and in an energetic environment where communication and teamwork is valued.

TASKS

· Collaborate with the development team in the design, implementation, testing and documentation of software for digital medical application sensors;

· Participate in the design of RTOS low-level embedded software solution for the control of digital sensors;

· Participate in the design of test bench to validate the software of our digital sensors;

· Participate in the design of application software solution on embedded Linux;

· Interact with design consultants at several stages in the development of our products;

· Ability to write reliable, extensible and reusable code;

· He will participate in supporting the production team to solve problems encountered;

· Act as a project manager as needed;

PROFILE

· Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, electrical or biomedical;

· 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in embedded software development;

· Proven competence in C / C ++;

· Familiar with IDE development environments under Eclipse as well as application development on embedded Linux;

· Experience with embedded systems technologies;

· Experience with multi-core microcontrollers;

· General knowledge in analog and digital electronics;

· Proven skill in Tcl and Python would be an asset;

· Experience in the software engineering process, implementation, testing and documentation;

· Knowledge of digital sensor technologies for X-ray medical imaging and their applications would be an asset;

· Ability, perseverance and curiosity to solve complex and multidisciplinary problems;

· Excellent teamwork skills;

· Demonstrated autonomy and initiative;

· Bilingual (French, English) an asset.
