Anakeesta, LLC Hiring for Adventure Maintenance Manager at Gatlinburg, Tennessee Full Time

Reports To: Adventure Director

This position is responsible for the maintenance of all Anakeesta Adventure Elements. These elements currently include, Tree Top Sky Bridge, Treeventure, Bearventure, Twigloo, Playground, Zipline Course.  

JOB DUTIES:

• Conducts daily, weekly, and monthly course inspections of all adventure elements
  • Creation of documentation, adherence to, and planning for.
  • Documentation includes, daily inspections of all elements, weekly inspections of all elements, monthly inspections of all elements, yearly inspections of all elements.
  • Individual maintenance logs for every element.
  • Near miss reports for Tree Top Sky Bridge, Treeventure, Bearventure, Twigloo, Playground.
  • Ensure documentation-need to be able to pull and review at a moment’s notice
• Sense of urgency in communication, correction, follow-up and documentation of any issues.
• Training and accountability of all adventure maintenance employees.
• Leading by example and enforcing all Adventure Course safety and general policy and procedures.
• Oversight of landscaping of all adventure elements.
  • To be taken care of by Adventure Element Maintenance employees.
• Ownership and inventory of maintenance tools.
• Over sees all weekly, monthly and yearly gear inspections with documentation of all inspections.
• In charge of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly inspections of all zipline rescue gear with documentation of all inspections.
• In charge of managing adventure maintenance team.
• Daily/weekly responsibilities may include:
  • Inspections (canopy walk, playground, bearventure, treeventure, tower, twigloo)
  • Ensuring all inspections logs are filled out
  • Continuous monitor check to ensure nothing is breaking
  • Fixing anything broken

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in inspecting adventure elements, understanding safety and strategic planning in regard to each aspect of the element.
• An individual in this position should have a strong background in outside adventure parks especially those with zipline operations.
• Certifications in ACCT are beneficial but not required: certifications in safety programs for large crowds, specific, specific skills in managing personnel in areas of high stress and fast paced operations are desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time will be continuously walking around and climbing staircases at very high areas of at least 150 vertical feet.
