We are looking for an Accounting Assistant for a 6-month contract based remotely.

Purpose of the Role is:

To maintain and provide financial information to support the production of statutory accounts, regulatory returns or MI systems and to support the delivery of technical change projects within Finance where required

What we require from the candidate:

· Experience of asking the right questions and listening effectively to gain an understanding of stakeholders’ needs and expectations

· Some experience of developing relationships with key contacts across the Finance team(s) and understanding of how sub-functions within Finance are structured and aligned

· Some experience of assisting the clear articulation and dissemination of quality information to internal and external stakeholders including regulators and rating agencies

· Some experience of presenting financial information and sharing findings and results, building an understanding of audience specific communication requirements

· Some experience of gathering financial information and of creating routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)

· Any oracle or PeopleSoft experience would be desirable
