In the Role

Responsible for providing remote, digital occupational therapy assessment, treatment, and documentation according to each student’s Individual Education Plan; as collaborating with educational teams regarding the participation challenges of each student in the educational environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 reading intervention

Provide daily small group lesions in accordance with program requirements

Progress monitor student growth and academic performance

Collaborates with the classroom teachers and building staff to support meeting proficiency on standards and to coordinate the need for support/intervention

Collaborates with grade-level teachers and administration to develop and support student learning plans

Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Qualifications:
TX Teaching Certificate: appropriate grade level required

Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience

Elementary Reading Interventionist Endorsement required

Graduate coursework or degree in Education, Language Arts or related field preferred

Dyslexia Specialist/CALT preferred

Reading Specialist Certification preferred

Experience providing services via telehealth preferred

Special Education Teaching Certification preferred

Clear communication skills both written and verbally

Strong organization and task management skills
