Amplex is a local internet provider that is growing our team. We are searching for a the right candidate to be our Software Developer. Essential duties include: Develops and maintains internal software tools

• Designs, corrects, monitors, and maintains programming as it relates to coding standards, coding tools, SQL, code backup and code in general. Provides documentation as necessary

• Generates and maintains technical documentation and visualizations

• Assist and guide architectural designs and decisions

• Develop and maintain testing tools and execute QA testing

• Identify and track performance metrics (KPIs)

• Support and communicate with stakeholders

• Maintain and update language codebases (library versions)

• Develop and support open-source software systems (Odoo, Saltstack, Netbox, etc)

• Determine upgrade paths for legacy systems

• Adhere to version control software systems and CI/CD development cycles

• Maintain public issue tracking record and update issues when work performed

• Lead and participate in Agile development methodologies

• Provides outage response and prep tower equipment as necessary

• Participate in shared on call support rotation for the NOC department

• Assist with special projects within the NOC department

• Other duties as assigned
