We are looking for an outstanding individual with excellent customer service skills, experienced in dealing with a variety of people in a professional and engaging manner, to represent Ampleforth College with passion and persuasion as part of the admissions process. You will be an ambassador for the College, the first person with whom many of our prospective parents and children have contact, both face to face and over the phone.
This is an exciting time in Ampleforth’s history. The College has gone through a period of modernisation and change and has reclaimed its place as the leading Catholic co-educational boarding school in the UK. Student numbers are growing – with girls accounting for nearly 50% – and there is a demand on places.
This is a very busy and varied role which is pivotal to the successful running of our Admissions Department. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is proactive by nature and feels driven to promote and advance the school. You will be accustomed to working under pressure and able to prioritise duties effectively. You will have the capacity to remain calm and professional, even on the busiest of days, delivering the highest level of customer service both externally and internally whilst juggling the demands of the role.
You will present a smart, engaging, and professional image at all times, carrying out duties in the most cost-effective and efficient way. You will follow all legislation, as well as our own policies and procedures, relating to working with children, safeguarding, and Health and Safety.
