We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our HR team.
The Role:
Working as part of a team of three, you will provide excellent and effective administrative support to the HR department and wider organisation on all HR aspects. You will be responsible for processing and managing all HR administrative activities as required, including updating, monitoring and continuously improving the HR Information System (HRIS).
This role plays a key part in our service delivery to both internal and external customers. It is a fast paced, demanding role with interactions at all levels of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities include:
Taking responsibility for sourcing, inducting and handling temporary agency staff, including liaising with agencies and organising & completing assessments
Supporting the sourcing of candidates during the recruitment process
Coordinating the new starter administration and induction processes for all new starters, including liaising with managers to ensure an induction timetable is complete prior to start date and escalating any concerns arising from the BPSS process
Accurately maintaining employee records on the HRIS
Monitoring absence through the HRIS, ensuring the correct paperwork is fully completed and escalating any matters regarding further investigation or absences over 7 days to the Senior HR Advisor
Finalising leaver administration, conducting exit interviews and raising any concerns for further investigation
Sourcing standard training courses and completing necessary paperwork
Essential Qualities include:
An experienced Administrator with knowledge and experience of employee and/or customer engagement
Experience working within a busy office environment, maintaining systems and processes
Knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office packages
Experience effectively managing email and post correspondence
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work to tight deadlines, and on multiple tasks at one time
Problem solving skills
Strong IT skills
Ability to manage own time and workload to ensure tasks and deadlines are completed on time
Confidence to interact at all levels

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-1.30pm.
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience
Working Environment: This position will be predominately based on site at our Whitstable facility
