A pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Rancho Cucamonga is looking for the talents of a Cost Accounting Analyst to prepare reports and analyze Cost Accountant financial information within the scope of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Assist Cost Accounting Team in month-end close process.
• Assist Cost Accounting Team in the analysis of month-end inventory production transactions and preparation of the journal entries to post cost of goods sold, production cost as well as variances.
• Assist Cost Accounting Team in the analysis of all cost related variances.
• Prepare and analyze trial balance and financial statements as related to inventory and production cost.
• Prepare and book accruals and price variances.
• Prepare period account reconciliations.
• Assist Cost Accounting Team in annual physical inventory observation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual audit schedules, and U.S.
• Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) supporting documentation as requested.
• Assist in the completion of special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; and minimum of one year experience in the manufacturing industry, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
