About the Project/Clinic

The Clinical Analyst will be part of the RISE 2.0 AMI team recognizing the crucial need to support enhancing long-term care facility resiliency and self-reliance with the purpose of preventing and effectively responding to COVID-19 and other infectious disease outbreaks. Therefore, as part of LTC RISE, awardees will also be providing quality improvement project opportunities to interested skilled nursing facilities, intermediate care facilities, personal care homes, and assisted living facilities in the following areas:

1. Long-term Care Facility workforce resilience

2. Infection prevention and control and emergency preparedness

3. Sustainable outbreak response operation.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Analyst will be part of the Quality Improvement Team (QIT) Emergency Response Team (ERT). The Clinical Analyst will be directly supervised by the Senior Program Manager.

The ERT is primarily responsible for outbreak response, and collaboration with local and state public health authorities during emergency events. The ERT will also support the Capacity Building Team to improve the Long-Term Care Facility’s (LTCF) workforce capabilities, and community outreach to increase the LTCF participation in the program.

The QIT will develop and implement a Quality Improvement Project with each LTCF (Long Term Care Facility). The QIT is responsible for community outreach to encourage LTCF engagement in the program, and for conducting independent assessments of the LTCFs. The team will work with facilities to implement quality improvement, build sustainable outbreak response operations, implement best practices, and create workforce resiliency.

Must reside anywhere in Pennsylvania.

Duties/Responsibilities:–

• Design and implement data analysis plans to evaluate.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and researchers to design studies and illustrate outcomes.
• Conduct statistical analyses to identify the relationship between clinical practices and outcomes and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable way.
• Collecting and organizing medical data from various sources such as electronic health records, clinical trials, and patient surveys
• Analyzing data using statistical software to identify trends, patterns, and relationships between variables.
• Interpreting and presenting data findings to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
• Cleaning and processing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Track and monitor clinical quality measures and outcomes.
• Provide regular s to leadership and stakeholder
• Collaborate with PMO to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical quality, safety and resident outcomes and develop strategies to address these challenges.
• Stay up to date on new trends in health care analytics and quality improvement.
• Proficient in PDSA, use of run charts, and tableau.
• The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs.

• Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including long term care facilities, community members, and AMI clinicians, program managers.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• – Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or information systems. Clinical Informatics preferred.
• – Experience in the healthcare field preferred.

stays.
