Joining Amey, one of the UK’s leading Infrastructure Services and Engineering organisations, at this specific time is exciting. We are currently revamping our approach to early careers recruitment and require a passionate and confident individual to help us deliver our early career cohorts.
This is a full-time permanent position and will be a home-based role with a requirement of occasional travel when necessary.
As an Apprentice, every day will be different! Your days could include the following:
Using Amey recruitment system to manage and track hiring processes from vacancy authorisations, advertising, supporting applicants through the selection process, right through to onboarding.
Working closely with the early careers resourcing team to deliver efficient recruitment administration support across all hiring activities for our early career’s programmes and create fresh ideas and opportunities for developing our processes.
Monitoring candidate enquires to ensure effective candidate communication which includes, arranging candidate interviews and providing support with Early careers assessment centre activities to enable all our candidates to have an excellent experience of Amey
Working closely with Amey’s onboarding team to ensure contracts and queries relating to successful applicants are processed efficiently.
Supporting activities and events to promote Amey which includes creating social media marketing content, attending career fairs and events, and engaging with schools, colleges, and Universities.
Assisting the early careers resourcing team with maintaining relationships with the wider Early Careers team, HR colleagues and Business Managers.
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Recruitment Resourcer qualification via our training partner, Key Training. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 12-15 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support.
Within Amey, you’ll be partnered with a “buddy” to assist you as you settle into your new role within our Early Careers team, helping answer all those initial questions you may have. Once you’ve settled in, you will be allocated a mentor who will support you throughout your Apprenticeship, helping you develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed.
When you complete your Apprenticeship, your development does not stop! You’ll be given lots of opportunities to progress further within Amey as well as being encouraged to gain additional qualifications as you continue your career.
