The Technology Talent & DE&I Excellence Director will be pivotal in supporting the evolution of our current DE&I and Talent strategies; ensuring we are organised for success; and driving key strategic initiatives across the colleague lifecycle. They will be a subject matter expert, utilizing quantitative and qualitative insights to evolve the approach, in collaboration with key partners, to accelerate change. They will be experienced in leading strategic DE&I/Talent plans across a business or geography, tapped into best and new practices, skilled at relationship management across a BU, leadership team, and the Blue Box, and motivated by driving tangible results across the organization.

Tactically, the role will be focused on evolving the Talent DE&I Excellence strategy – assessing and prioritising key initiatives to drive tangible outcomes in conjunction with a range of key stakeholders and participants. Initially, as an example, this will require the establishment of a PMO and a Governance structure with clear Roles & Responsibilities, KPI’s and measures for success. It will also require partnership with CA&C to design an internal communications strategy to enable colleagues and leaders to actively participate in building our diverse and inclusive team and culture, and further the Technology brand accordingly.

To be successful, you will need to:

• Serve as subject matter expert, and partner, collaborating across Technology teams – Talent Excellence, CEG, Leadership Team, CA&C, and with the Global DE&I function, contributing perspective, insights and knowledge and taking a balanced, systemic approach to enable Technologies to align objectives, initiatives, and strategies to achieve measurable results
• Assess overall effectiveness of existing or potential I&D initiatives, leverage organizational metrics, and make strategic recommendations to ensure progress on goals and drive change
• Accelerate the integration of inclusion, seeking opportunities to integrate into existing programmes – including learning and talent strategies
• Demonstrate the ability to bring others along, build strong relationships and work collectively towards shared goals
• Partner effectively with, and serving as a strategic partner to, all levels and functions of a large, global business unit
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and decision-making skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset are essential
• Have a track record of building trust and rapport quickly
• Hold an ability to articulate vision and direction, communicate effectively and manage and measure team performance and accountability
• Demonstrated success leading others, sharing information, connecting dots, and working effectively across teams

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience leading Talent / IE&D programs including experience leading cross-functional projects, building complex solutions and/or driving efforts across a BU or geography with COE or Consulting experience
• Ability to drive projects and initiatives as a self-starter with a strong client focus, outstanding critical thinking, and a solution-focused mindset
• Ability to influence, build relationships and partner across a broad range of stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to understand complex problems and root causes, and to make data‐driven recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to gather internal and external insights to understand and identify needs and systematic solutions at scale, intellectual courage, and curiosity
• Exceptional communication, presentation, story-telling and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work within a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Interest and motivation to drive sustainable change in the Talent and DE&I space
