Join our team of dedicated professionals – As a Security Recruiter, you will work closely with our Director of Operations to assist them in manning security projects throughout the DFW metroplex. The candidate selected will work out of our offices in both Ft Worth, and Richardson, Texas, and must have strong interpersonal, administrative, computer, organizational, and communication skills. They need to be able to work effectively with applicants, account managers, the scheduler, the operations team and other members of management to support Ameritex Guard Services.

Job Requirements: We are looking for people with a solid recruiting and administrative background to help man our security projects. Applicants should be comfortable recruiting for multiple projects simultaneously. We are seeking people with a solid work ethic and exceptional time management skills to ensure each project is manned properly. In addition, applicants need to be able to communicate effectively to other members of management, team members, or job applicants. Working knowledge of labor laws is preferred.

What you’ll do:

• Work with account managers, project managers and operations managers to develop ads that can be posted on various job sites to attract qualified applicants

• Screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements for the jobs they applied for

• Schedule and conduct interviews
• Onboard new hires

• Perform administrative tasks necessary to track applicants throughout the vetting and onboarding process

• Work with Administrative Staff and perform background checks, drug tests, fingerprinting appointments, and other aspects of the vetting process. Work with the applicants to move them through this process in a timely manner.

• Ensure applicants have filled out the appropriate employment agreements, confidentiality agreements, and NDA’s;

• Assist new hires to ensure all required information has been entered and necessary forms/agreements have been acknowledged.

• Work with the Operations Director to research salaries in various states to establish pay rates for upcoming projects;

• Assist in tracking compliance standards for guard cards/weapon permits for all applicants;

• Coordinate with respective project team leaders in order to track qualification standards for new employees to ensure they are in compliance;

• Any other task assigned by the Operations Director that assists with manpower support for projects.

• Proficiency working with recruiting sites;

• Proven problem-solving skills;

• High Emotional IQ;

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Preferred traits (not required):

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Management

• Previous experience recruiting security agents

• Knowledge or background in Human Resources

• Knowledge of Google Suite

• Prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Security Experience
