PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As of August 24, 2021, AmerisourceBergen requires all U.S. team members to be fully vaccinated and show proof of completed vaccine status at time of hire. Develop new control applications from a set of specifications

Test new and modified control applications

Modify/upgrade existing feed mill control applications

Provide remote support for field personnel as they install and troubleshoot new applications

Provide on-site support for some scheduled installations and upgrades

Provide end-user phone support, primarily concerning application issues

Create documentation for configurations and how to implement and test the applications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required. Position requires excellent communication skills including the ability to create and write documentation for software users. Familiarity with Java, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), the use of an IDE and software testing is helpful. Must participate in a weekend and after-hours on-call support rotation. Must be willing to travel to customers sites to complete installations, upgrades and provide customer support. Travel up to a 20% may be required.Valid driver’s license is required.
