Job Title : Carrier Operations Leader Role Facts : We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to help lead a department within our Logistics team.

This role will play a key role in the expansion and development of our logistics team.

• Responsible for building out AmeriLux Logistics Carrier Network
• Lead a high performing team responsible for carrier capacity, purchasing and tracking.
• Proactively monitor rate / lane data and analyze to identify areas of opportunity / growth.
• Train, coach and mentor team for negotiations and decision making.
• Develop and maintain industry and direct carrier knowledge, including prospecting, carrier pipeline development and identify opportunities for spot market vs. contract pricing.
• Conduct performance reviews, including individual and team development such as 1-1’s, and WSLL plans.
• Create and establish carrier capacity plan for current and future freight opportunities.
• Proactively engage with carriers to build partnerships and maximize the effectiveness of our carrier network.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating carrier qualifications, educating the team on safety and carrier vetting best practices.
• Work directly with Customer Operations Leader on current and future capacity needs
• Responsible for maximizing purchasing power.
• Maintain a team environment aligned with AmeriLux core competencies and values.
