TITLE: Simulated Mission Operator (SMO)
S TO: Site Lead
WORK EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of MQ-9 aircrew training device (ATD) experience. Two (2) years of experience executing military flight simulator training. Two (2) years of close air support (CAS) operational experience as a qualified aircrew member, intel support, or Joint Tactical Air Controllers (JTAC).
Desired Qualifications: Candidates who have prior experience on the Remote Piloted Aircraft Training Support (RPATS) program at Holloman AFB, NM arepreferred. Experience with MQ-9 Tactical Situational Awareness Tool (TACSIT), and multi-user Internet Relay Chat (mIRC). Previously qualified as MQ-9 mission intelligence coordinator, pilot, sensor operator or air battle manager.
EDUCATION/TRAINING: High School diploma or GED.

REQUIREMENTS: US Citizen and current/active Secret Security Clearance.
Skills and Characteristics: Excellent attention to detail. Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture. Possess extraordinary organizational and communication skills both written and verbal. Possess excellent problem-solving skills in a multi-task environment. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft® Office.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to maneuver in and around the job site. Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, crouch and stoop when working. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time. Responds to visual and oral cues. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to handle more than one function at a time accurately. Must be able to lift 50lbs. and must meet company fit for duty requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Summary: Provide real time training event mission support for ATD events, MQ-9 flightline events, and/or desktop trainer (DTT) events. Support includes emergency procedure evaluations (EPE), launch, and recovery (LR), continuation training (CT), MQ-9 Formal Training Unit (FTU) syllabus missions, student practice missions, debriefs, and distinguished visitor (DV) and/or guest demonstrations.
