POSITION SUMMARY
ing directly to the Managing Director, the Office Administrator & House Manager holds
together an eclectic mixture of people, projects, and priorities. As Office Administrator they
oversee office operations, event and volunteer coordination, and act as point of contact with
many entities. House Management responsibilities include working events and overseeing
volunteers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Office Management
? Organize and liaise with facilities for room use and general building maintenance,
security access, and parking needs.
? Maintain event calendar for Security, Custodial, and Facilities showing all times AS Staff
are in the building (office & box office hours, rehearsals), and all onsite public events
? Point of contact with Tech Specialist
? Office supply, organization, inventory, and ordering.
? Act as Google Administrator
? Assist with employee onboarding parking passes, building/room access, employee
directory, contact lists, phone set up,
? Primary contact with IT (Sixwatch), submits work tickets
Front of House
? Oversee Front of House operations – House Management and Concessions/ Bar
? Act as House Manager for most performances.
? Schedule House and Bar Managers
? Coordinate with Production for runtime, intermission times, and seating considerations
to communicate to the FOH Staff and volunteers
? Act as liaison between patrons, Stage Management, and the Box Office to ensure
patrons are seated in a timely manner and the show can start on time.
? Maintain furniture arrangement in the lobby and ensure the area is clean; coordinate
with SPC custodial staff
? Move merchandise cart from vestibule to lobby before the show & return after
performance, making sure it is adequately stocked.
? Ensure cleanliness of the theatre.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements
? High School Diploma/GED
? Excellent time management and organizational skills
? Proven excellence as an office assistant, office administrator or in another relevant
position
? Background in customer service and/or performance house management
? Outstanding abilities to communicate in person, in writing and over the phone
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office management tools and applications
? Bilingual applicants strongly encouraged
COMPENSATION: $18-$20/hr, 30 hrs a week
