Account Executive Job Description

We are seeking a qualified account executive to enhance our sales team and continue to grow our loyal client base. The account executive must have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building/maintaining relationships and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business-to-business solution selling with strong negotiating skills, be driven to represent American Sound’s offerings in a compelling way and be an innovative participant to an incredible team.

Objectives of this role

• Represent American Sound’s solutions and services through a deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of the customers and why we are the best Audio-Visual company.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas including both integration projects and ongoing services.
• Generate new business and grow existing business through networking and relationship management.
• Be a positive participant and collaborator to the larger American Sound team.
• Continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience and be an active participant in the future direction of American Sound.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospects, set appointments, make qualifying sales calls and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all solutions and service categories.
• Grow relationships with existing clients to ensure they continue to receive exceptional support, identify new potential opportunities and seek ways to go deep and wide within those accounts.
• Achieve sales goals by assessing and understanding activities required on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to exceed quotas.
• Coordinate with other team members, engineering and management to lead the client experience.
• Prepare and present informative, creative and concise proposals to clients for products, solutions and services.
• Become proficient in American Sound’s offerings and differentiators to bypass competition.
• Maintain database for leads, opportunities, proposals and sales on a daily/weekly basis.

Required skills and qualifications

• 5+ Years of proven sales success at levels above set quotas
• Base knowledge of Solution Selling including projects and services
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organization skills
• Proficiency with sales management software and CRM tools

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Proven success in technology related industry – Audio Visual, Security, IT
• Deep understanding of Unified Communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,689.47 – $116,789.83 per year
