One of the most dynamic and innovative financial institutions, also a multi-unit/cultural, fast-growing Inc. 5000 company, is seeking controller for our headquarter at Airport Tower in Irvine, CA.

• Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations, recordkeeping, and assist CFO on hiring, training, and retaining skilled accounting staff.
• Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial principles (GAAP).
• Providing monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L consolidations and financial reporting and other compliance documents for management.
• Managing the budget process.
• Preparing materials to outside CPA for tax filing and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors in confirming compliance with applicable financial standards and practices, include annual financial auditing.
• Managing and supervising employees in the department and check their work regularly to ensure good quality of work, and assign/delegate job tasks within the accounting department to work efficiently.
• Evaluating effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.
• Applying a thorough knowledge of all company accounting procedures, partner with the members of the leadership team; provide advice and counsel on a wide range of issues facing the business.
• Good communication skill, critical thinking, problem-solving, and an ability to adapt.
• At least 10 years financial management experience, CPA is highly preferred.
• Lending & investment background is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
