About this Position:
The Supply Chain Innovation and Transformation Lead is responsible at the department level for the architecture and design of applications for next generation platform transition strategies and working across AHM IT and in collaboration with the business side to ensure alignment with the overall technology and performance strategy of both business units for the Supply Chain and Procurement. You will use a deep understanding of technology and the business supported by DMS to work with division leadership on digital transformation and modernization initiatives. You will also work with IT research consulting firms and Honda technology partners to understand industry trends and best practices. In this role you will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Supply Chain Applications department members as well as other where appropriate.
Responsibilities include:

• Work with SCA Dept. Leaders on strategic initiatives related to next generation platforms to meet the Supply Chain business needs moving toward BEV enablement.
• Establish and document technical roadmaps, standards, and best practices for Supply Chain Applications in collaboration with Team, Unit, and customer department leads.
• Investigation/Design/Source and end-to-end enterprise solutions for SCA collaborating with Dept. Production Teams and Supply Chain Business Unit.
• Consider aging applications and the consolidation of site applications into scalable regional solutions.
• Lead the design and development of the SCA strategy for system integration and date migration in support of the rationalization program.
• Create project architecture deliverables and present to ARB in support of J-Flow.

Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 10 years IT experience with the following:
• Managing enterprise level application
• Design and implementation of enterprise level IT applications in digital supply chain transformation and next gen ERP products
• Developing reference architecture, principles, and standards
• Working with relational database technologies (SQL, DB2, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge on supply chain tools
• Strong ability to lead complex troubleshooting of Supply Chain systems
• Technical scrum master & project management

• Minimum 5 years of experience with the following:
• Modern concepts such as microservices, container-based development, DevOps, and Cloud development
• Experience in working agile framework to delivery software solution by sprint.
• In-depth knowledge and experience on machine interface and automation testing

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Engineering, or closely related field.
• Individuals with the theoretical understanding and practical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent industry experience preferred.
