The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is the national medical society representing emergency medicine. Through continuing education, research, public education and advocacy, ACEP advances emergency care on behalf of its 41,000 emergency physician members, and the more than 150 million Americans they treat on an annual basis.

The overall functions of this position include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Web applications in an Angular, .NET Microsoft environment
• Working with other team members including UX designers, business analyst, and other developers to deliver high quality customer experiences
• Solving complex application problems participating in project concept development, system programming and acceptance testing with a focus on customer experiences and cost of ownership – efficiency, reuse, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in a structured environment working on systems, applications, programming, development, testing, implementation, and deployment required.
• 3+ years of UI development experience with Angular 4+, Angular 7+ preferred, Bootstrap, CSS 3+, HTML 4+, TypeScript.
• Experience managing projects in Bitbucket including code branching and working with build automation.
• Software development lifecycle using structured processes.
• Practical knowledge of Agile principles and prefer ability to lead SCRUM ceremonies.
• Competent with tool use to manage the following functions: code management, unit testing, integration testing, version control, and prototyping.
• Understand a broad range of technologies and able to think in terms “enterprise wide” solutions.
• Strong skills in analysis, design, development, and deployment of enterprise application systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across layers of an application.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
