We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team based in Sudbury, Suffolk. The business is enjoying a significant growth phase and are moving towards a £5m T/O As such, they are now seeking a Financial Controller / Manager to bring their accounting function inhouse. We are looking for candidates with either experience of this process or have a demonstrable understanding of SME accounting.

Key duties and responsibilities.

· Oversight of the day to day finance function

· Finance reporting for the senior management team

· Producing Management Accounts

· Cash flow forecasting

· Budgeting

· Analysis of performance and providing insightful information to the business

· Provide support and guidance to sales and operations teams

· Review and improve processes and procedures

Requirements

· Demonstratable experience in a similar FC / Finance Manager role

· Qualified accountant

· Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous, but is not essential

· Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

· Strong communicator who is able to work with “non-finance” people

· Experience of Sage Line 50 would also be advantageous.

Benefits

· £35,000 to £45,000 dependent upon experience

Expected start date: 02/08/2021
