In this lucrative career role you will be part of an international mining group, and Report to the . Head of Finance – Africa. Based in the London office alongside the Head of Tax, and Head of Treasury, you will oversee Regional Financial Controllers across their many projects in Africa.

Key Duties & Responsibilities will include;

• Accountability for management reporting, financial reporting, CAPEX management, tax compliance, and external audits (group and local
• Preparation and delivery of all finance reports including weekly forecasts, monthly finance report and quarterly business reviews
• Cashflow reporting and management of cash across all entities, including dividend repatriation, loan repayment strategies
• Review and approval of payments across the business.
• Representing Finance at weekly Manager’s meetings.
• Preparation of financials for tender models including calculation of key metrics such as NPV, IRR and project ROACE for investment decisions.
• Management of 5 Financial Controllers for each African business to ensure business standards across reporting and professional development remain high
• Ensuring FIFO rosters and in-country finance team structures support the reporting requirements and business output
• Building strong relationships across operations, procurement & supply, commercial, legal, HR and group finance

To be successful in this lucrative international role, you will need:

• A Minimum of 15 years’ experience, CA/CPA qualifications, and previous mining industry experience as essentials

• A proven track record in managing a a team of professionals in finance.
• An ability to travel to site regularly
• Sound technical accounting expertise in IFRS, tax compliance, management, and financial reporting
• Experience with African operations (not essential).
• Experience in 3-way financial modelling, budget builds and cashflow forecasting.
• Strong ERP experience
