Role: HR Officer
Accountable to: HR Manager
Hours: 0.6 FTE/ 24 hours per week (over 4 or 5 days negotiable)
Salary: £15,450 (£25,750 FTE)
The Organisation
Amberleigh Care is a private SME delivering specialist, therapeutic residential care and education to looked after children. We do this on behalf of Local Authorities from across the UK. This is delivered at two sites (Welshpool and Telford) which operate as Therapeutic Communities – a very structured way of working in groups with a focus on relational practice. We employ between
85-100 staff at any time in a variety of roles and disciplines. The service was established in 2005 and has a national reputation for its work.
Job Purpose
We need an exceptional HR Officer to support our growing service. This is a key post in supporting the management and staff at Amberleigh Care to be effective in their roles and provide the very best quality of provision to our employee’s The successful candidate will have responsibility and accountability for the full employee life cycle and will be involved in all areas of the Human Resources function but with a primary focus on recruitment and retention. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the HR team in the provision of a comprehensive HR service. The post holder will be required to work closely with the HR and Training Manager, HR
Administrator and the Managing Director who has ultimate oversight of people processes.
