HRBP AMCAS

Due to growth and investment in our people we are currently looking for a highly motivated, agile, people oriented, engaging and results focused Human Resources Business Partner for our AMCAS region in our offices in Canton Ohio, USA.

In this position you will:

• Counsel effectively with leaders across all functions
• Build and execute HR strategy to support Business critical success drivers
• Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate HR knowledge and expertise to establish business credibility

Furthermore you will provide Human Resources support and leadership for plant HR initiatives in a lean manufacturing environment. You will provide strategic consulting, direction and assistance in the execution of people or business strategies, including employee engagement & culture, talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards and employee relations.

The Team

You will be part of our Global HR team spread over 3 regions, AMCAS, EMEA and APAC. Locally you will to our Regional HR Director. In general AmbaFlex’s HR department is facilitating the company’s mission: “To be the preferred supplier of ‘”spiral conveyor solutions” for a wide range of industrial applications. We expect strong knowledge in the area HR policies, processes and regulations. You are an independent professional with a natural desire to investigate, help and improving everything that comes on your path. You show business acumen, act as an advisor and coach to leaders, helping them navigate the complexity of building, retaining, and engaging their teams Furthermore, the following aspects are important for this job:

• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Provide thought leadership and training in areas such as complaint/escalation handling, and conflict resolution
• Root cause and problem solve people-related issues
• Identify, propose, and implement HR best practices; leverage expertise and utilize resources to support and promote manufacturing business objectives. Provide expertise in the following areas and support programs: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, change management, learning and development, recognition programs, D&I and organization design.
• Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations (e.g. FMLA, ADAAA, Workers Comp).
• Ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Onze eisen:

Education

High School Diploma or GED required; A Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in Human Resources Management or related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Communication, Industrial Psychology) is strongly preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of Human Relations experience required
• Experience in a manufacturing plant, distribution center or warehouse is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization
• Excellent communications skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media, verbal, and written, etc.
• Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask in a fast-paced environment, calm under pressure and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules as appropriate
• Strong leadership abilities and skills as a team builder, coach, and mentor
